Next Insight Transportation Software was founded in 2002 and is based out of the Greater New York Metropolitan Area. The company seeks to leverage technology to help transit agencies increase efficiency, customer satisfaction, and ridership.

Next Insight will promote the use of public transportation by increasing its appeal and convenience to people in communities around the world.


• Increased public transit use means less congested roadways and decreased travel time.
• Less congested roadways leads to fewer accidents, and overall safer and less expensive travel.
• Less congestion means decreased air pollution, especially in urban areas.
• Having fewer cars on the road will reduce consumption of fossil fuels.
• Public transportation adds to the efficiency of our current transportation infrastructure without investing in costly additions to that infrastructure.




•  Our Vision

In the next 20 years, the transportation industry in America will change radically. Simply put, the current highway infrastructure is stretched beyond its capacity. This problem will only get worse in the coming decades as urban sprawl leads to longer commutes and more highway miles traveled. Building new roadways will only lead to more congestion due to the well-known phenomenon of latent demand in the transportation industry. The solution to the problem is for Americans to use the current infrastructure more efficiently. The goal of Intelligent Transportation Systems is to give users the right information at the right time so that they can decide how to get to their destination most efficiently.

The explosion of new technologies lately has allowed Intelligent Transportation Systems to blossom into a truly cost effective way to attack the congestion problem in this country. Transit organizations are beginning to come to the realization that they must shift some of their focus away from transportation issues and towards technology issues. As technology evolves, so will Next Insight; but our focus will always remain the same.

Our vision will always be to use whatever technologies are available and appropriate to help transit organizations provide their users with the right information at the right time.
